July 7, 2007Playing with the Lucky 7
Today is the busiest day Las Vegas has ever seen. The hotels are hosting up to 3 times the normal wedding ceremonies for any given day. It is recorded as the busiest day for weddings in history, even greater than for the Millennium.
Many couples feel that adding the lucky seven to their occasion is the ultimate jackpot. Many couples showcased the number 7 in which ever way they can think of. I hear that Limousines with license plates with three 7’s were a hot commodity and even hotel rooms with 7 in it. This day is a hot wedding day all over the country.
Amongst the hotels and normal venues for weddings there are other public places that realized how popular this day was going to be and decided to host weddings as well. Amongst the many are Six Flags, Walmart Garden Centers, and Phoenix Zoo just to name a few. All 12 U.S. Six Flags are actually throwing a “Thrilled Ever After” celebration, featuring seven weddings at seven o’clock in the morning.

Well,
Congratulations to all the lucky seven marriages !!!!!!!
Let’s see what happens for next year with the number 8. I wonder if August 8, 2008 would get the same type of hype. In Chinese tradition the number eight is considered good luck.
